When you make DNS queries to our service, we may collect:

  • Protocol Information: Whether the query used UDP or TCP

When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • Technical Information: IP address, browser type, operating system
  • Usage Information: Pages visited, time spent on pages

Important Note: We do not intentionally collect personal information for processing, sharing with third parties, or any other commercial purpose. Any data captured in server logs is automatically deleted after 30 days.

  • To provide and maintain our DNS resolution Services
  • To monitor and improve service performance and reliability

3.1 How We Don't Use Your Information

4. Data Processing

Our Services process DNS queries to return IP Geolocation data. This processing:

  • Is performed in real-time without storing query results
  • Uses third-party IP location databases (IPinfo.io) for location data
  • Does not associate queries with individual users

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. We may share information only when:

  • Required by law or legal process
  • Necessary to protect our rights or property
  • Needed to prevent fraud or security issues

6. Data Retention

  • DNS Query Logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days
  • Rate Limiting Data: Temporary storage in memory/cache, automatically expired
  • Website Access Logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request information about what data we have collected (if any)
  • Request deletion of any data we may have
  • Opt-out of using our Services

8. California Privacy Rights

We use IPinfo.io's IP location database to provide location data. This database contains IP-to-location mappings but does not contain personal information.

12.2 Infrastructure Providers

We use infrastructure providers for hosting our Services. These providers may have access to technical information but are bound by their own privacy policies and agreements with us.

13. DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-TLS

If we implement encrypted DNS protocols in the future, the same privacy principles will apply. We will update this policy to reflect any changes in data handling for encrypted protocols.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
